Each bead sparkles with ancestral memory, creating a visual story where past, present, and future intertwine through invisible threads of heritage and identity. They respond to the idea of a methodical career development with rejection and incomprehension of this perspective, living in a suspended reality. However, bright is the intensity of the dreams of those in their 20s and the boys don’t stop having an ideal vision, believe in a social community, desire time together with friends and pursue life with all their efforts. Everyday reality is filtered through the lens of her delicate yet precise gaze, which focuses on the hidden and enigmatic side, by bringing to the fore actions and objects that are far from their most predictable function. Sound is an important element that establishes the rhythm of the stories and amplifies the emotional intensity.Virginia Garra is a visual artist and filmmaker based in Milan. She holds an MFA from HEAD – Haute École d'Art et de Design in Geneva, Switzerland. Her short film “My Sunset Room” (2021) won the Perspectives Jury Prize at the Filmmaker Festival in Milan.
